She was 29 years old.
Irene’s life was tragically taken by her ex-husband, following a 5-year relationship and separation.
The former couple met at a fitness center where they were both employed. They were married after four years of dating, and welcomed a precious daughter together. They separated shortly after due to her ex-husband's infidelity.
On the evening of the murder, Irene was lured back to her former home by her killer. She was stabbed multiple times. Irene, a hero, ran outside of the house begging for help and was transferred to a hospital to treat her wounds but alas, did not make it.
This dress was Irene's last worn dress, as well as one of her favorite purchased clothing items. Irene touched so many lives and leaves behind her precious 1.5 year old daughter. Her dream was to travel the world, and thanks to this exhibit, her dress will get to travel in honor of her memory.
Her ex-husband committed suicide by hanging himself shortly after the murder.
