Samantha Isaacs

Murdered on Sunday, December 17th, 2017
She was 27 years old

Samantha met her ex-partner when she was a teenager and they had a child together.

After a long history of violence towards her and towards other women, and following the request of her parents to break up with him, she decided to leave.

He was a big guy, violent and involved in many street fights.

On a Friday night, Samantha went to a classmate’s birthday party, despite the pleas of her parents who feared for her life. As she was leaving, she said to her mother: “Mom, don't miss me too much, and don't cry too much for me." Her mom had not imagined that these would be the last words she would hear from her beloved daughter.

Samantha was sweet, kind and loving. She was a wonderful mother to her son, and in the last period of her life she managed to make a good living from marketing.

At the same time, she also finished her studies in chemistry at the University of the West Indies and dreamed of becoming a doctor.

Her ex-partner shot her in the leg when she tried to escape and put her in the trunk of his car. He shot her in the face and when the police found her she managed to say that her son's father had shot her.

The killer committed suicide.
