She was 40 years old
María Tacsan is the fourth child in the household formed by Jorge and Carmen, she grew up in a loving family that always encouraged her to pursue her dreams.
María studied at the Conservatory of Castella where she excelled in theater and dance.
At the University she studied International Relations and Customs Administration.
When she was 18 years old, she went on an exchange program for a year to Japan, an experience that enriched her so much that she later took advantage of it working at the Embassy of Japan in Costa Rica where she performed with great talent supporting many communities as well in important projects for the country.
María loved life and enjoyed swimming since she was a child and in recent years she combined her passion for the ocean in open waters and diving competitions.
María was murdered on September 19, 2020 at the age of 40, leaving enormous pain not only in her family but also in her friends and colleagues who appreciated her and missed her very much.
We are currently on trial for this Femicide
