Israel Electric Corporation

Sunday morning. The events of the coming month, evolving around the international day of abolishing violence again women (25.11), were launched in the city of Haifa, at the Israeli Electric Company’s main office.
The garments of the murdered women are hanging at the entrance to the dining room, a woman stops and asks if the dresses are for sale, others share their stories: ״my niece lived for many years with an abusive husband״, ״I used to volunteer at a shelter for battered women״, and more.
A large crowd has gathered. I felt the anger seeping through anger on behalf of Dafna's orphaned children, Duaa and Iris, anger on behalf of the parents who lost their daughter. I dedicate this installation to them: boys and girls who are being exposed to violence at home on a daily basis, and I cry for them.
The new CEO of the Electric Company Mr. Meir Spiegler talked about family trauma, this is our real chance as a society, and we have a shared responsibility for the well-being of those children.
We owe them a safe, respectful, equal, world.
