International Women's Day 2018
On March 8th we celebrated International Women's Day, but actually there aren't many reasons to celebrate.
Women today still earn 30% on average less than men, sexual harassment campaigns flood the net, and all over the world women and girls find themselves in violent relationships, some without even being aware of it.
On the other hand, there are reasons to be optimistic.
Today we showcased She's Gone at the Rogozin High School in Kiryat Ata, as suburb of Haifa.
500 students, young women and men, were extremely touched by our installation, and listened to our story and the stories of the women whose clothes were showcased. The creator of She's Gone, Keren Yehezkeli Goldstein, shared her journey, from the initial idea to the actual production of the installation, which was made possible thanks to a group of close friends who joined this exciting and difficult journey and made it a reality.
In addition to our installation, a brother of one of the victims, Nir Elimelech, gave an inspiring lecture about his later sister's personal tragedy and spoke about violent relationships and how they can be avoided.
It was truly inspiring to see the students' reactions and interest.
We have a strong desire to reach more young people in the coming year and expose them to our installation, to inspire them and together to create a real change in our society.

There is a chance that our world will be better, safer, more protected and respecting place for women.
